They are simple seed eaters(on the ground) and livefood when chicks are being fed.

I treat them as a Seedeater, not a true Softbill. Their digestive system would prove that out.
They are a challenge and I wish more people would spend more time in establishing them in our aviaries.

Saw this ad on Petlink, in case anyone wanted to buy some, I would love some, but can't afford it, it would be great if it was $70 a pair. I also need to add freight too.
