Helped take the entries last night.
760 exibits including 200 finches. Special display of bengalese(over50) with exhibitors coming from interstate.
Try and get along and say hello.

I have heard of 5 forum members coming at least.
Make your self known. Just ask for Bob and I will try and get everyone together.

I hope to be there too - if I can bring myself to get up that early on what is promising to be a cold, wet, windy Saturday! :eh:

Exhibitors should be sure to bring some wind-proofing for their cages (and selves), just in case, as I think the pavilion is not exactly draught-proof.

It was good to meet Weaver who was very busy helping run the show and organising the prizes at the end of the day.

There was a great turnout of canaries and finches. I heard there was over 750 birds. I will post some canary photos later. Sorry no finches.

I ended up winning Champion and Reseve Champion Lizard Canary, and 3 Specials for my Border Fancy Canaries - Best Open Yellow Hen, Best Open Buff Hen and Best White Hen. A very good day.

Thanks Weaver for the glass seed hoppers as well. All scrubbed up this morning and looking great.
