Golden Cob bird seed - what's happened?

I want to buy some Golden Cob Finch Mix. Knowing how it's always so hard to find, I went to the Golden Cob web site to see if anyone is supplying in the Sydney area yet, but their web site now forwards to Mars.com.au.

I assume that means Mars have bought Golden Cob(??). However, they look like they are dumping the brand because there's nothing on their web site about it at all - "Your search - golden cob - did not match any documents. No pages were found containing "golden cob". "

Anyone know what's going on?

I just found out that PetStock bought PetBiz. All stores will be converting over the coming months, meaning Golden Cob may become much easier to get hold of.

been using golden cob for a couple of weeks, to my surprize, they go for golden cob first, rather than pre mixed from the stock feeds, thumbs up for golden cob, it costs more but ......

Mars have bought a lot of pet food brands. Golden Cob is listed on the Mars Petcare site. What don't these multinationals own!

paul1966 where do you buy Golden Cob from - may give it a try, went to City Farmers to buy finch mix & it appears they no longer mix/bag their own, is now called canary/finch mix & now seems to have a lot of wheat in it ??
Where do other Perth breeders buy proper finch mix from

depends very much which area you live in. Jandacot stock feed sells great seed. I've just discovered them.

According to the guy at pet food store golden cob is no longer, bought the last 4 bags that Jandakot pet foods had aaand they had the proper finch mix Thanks Redwing

As per Romas comment from South Australia. I use golden cob also and Petstock seem to have it available whenever I need some (NSW)
