Strange looking gouldian fledgling

Strange new youngster???
I have had the same colony of Red headed gouldians for 5 or 6 years.
Once (occasionally twice) a year I will purchase and introduce a new pair of birds into the mix.
Over the years the hen red head colour, cock fuson bar, and hen chest colour have improved.
During the season I will get a few really nice looking black headed hens from the breeding group.
Clearly I have some split birds in the mix.
I do not have have problem with this as it happens in the wild and nine times out ten the Black headed hens are crackers!
One of my focal points is maintaining a nice horizonal fuson bar with a straight purple chest demarcation line.
Anyway, back to the odd fledgling.
Unfortunately The other two gave up and I am down to one.
The young bird is a gunmetal or graphite grey not the usual drab green and oyster yellow.
Any thoughts anyone???
