Annual show is on this Saturday 1st June 2013 at Hills Sports High School, Best Rd, Seven Hills.
I am not sure how many birds are entered but there will be finches at this show.

I was wondering about that.... from my experience (being a member of both types of clubs), ornithological society and avicultural society are on the verge of being mutually exclusive... sadly :/

Maybe just maybe, the Ornithological society shows stuffed birds!! I can see a Monty Phython sketch starting...
"It's dead"
"No, it's not...It's asleep!"
etc...etc...etc...
Cheers

So I assume that means that the ornithological society is still an avicultural society dealing with caged birds, not wild birds.
is this correct?
