stock question?

hey all just wondering how many finches can i fit into a cage that is 1.5ft square and 3ft tall

Hey Dean you could put a couple of pairs of what your looking at buying, through some nest boxes in and let them go.

finches seem to prefer length over height. so in the cage you mentioned I would only house 1 pair. if the cage could be laid on it's side and used then I would have said 2 pairs

ill se if i can make the cage so that i can have it long ways and then get one pair i posted a want to buy add on petlink for a pair of zebra finches so ill see what i can get

That would be a lot better for them and there are a lot of zebras on pet link at the moment, don't forget to send a photo when you get them.
