While Eastern, Yellow and Crimson Rosellas are common visitors to my yard it was unusual to see all three species
feeding together on our lawn.The group comprised of 5 Yellows,2 Easterns and 3 Crimsons. They were all together not spread out.
Also the other day there were inexcess of 100 Galahs feeding on our front lawn.They were pulling out and eating grass stems.
They left quite a mess but being able watch them was worth it.

I often see those three together in my back yard though not as you described. Its usually one pair of each with the occasional King Parrot pair thrown in.

The galahs, corellas and sulfur crested cockies are in plague numbers.

Like you I enjoy watching them tear through the lawns

I didn't know you got Yellow Rosellas around Woollongong.

I don't live in Woollongong, I live on the NSW/Vic border very near the Murray River.
Yellow and Eastern Rosellas are permanent residents, Crimsons come down during winter like many other species
getting away from the snow. King Parrots, Currawongs, Robins etc.

I think Tiaris was talking about elferoz777. When i was younger and lived on property we used to get the yellows, quite a striking bird and eastern but never with crimsons. I would of liked to have seen that.

Sorry for the confusion David. I realise you are in the thick of Yellow Rosella territory but I've never heard of them at the south coast of NSW where elferoz777 lives.

At my age I frequently get confused.
