seem to be high...

My emblemas, normal gouldians and firefinches were all about $65 a pair when I bought them from a bird place in Adelaide October 2008.
Tanunda bird sale earlier this month had
firefinches $20 for hen
white chested gouldian pair $65
I asked yesterday about a diamond and was quoted $120 pair

thats what i thought Greg,
the birds are busy doing their thing out there, dont know who's doin what as it is so big, but they are all very busy with the grass, they seem happy.

I went to a Finch sale in Brisbane on weekend. I noticed a few prices
Normal Gouldians were $40pr (lot ppl selling singles as well for $20)
Yellow back cocks were 40-65
Aust yellow $85 each
Cubans were around $50 a pair
Can't really remember many of rest I was only after a blue gouldian but didn't manage to find one.

I found some prices from a QFS auction I went to last year. Sorry about the hard to understand hand writing my wife was writing down sale prices after doing a 12 hour night duty at the hospital

Unfortunately we didn't stay till very end so list isn't quite complete.

I have a wide arse, prolly as close as I'll get
