diamonds and feathers

threw a few feathers into the diamond sparrow aviary. first to hit was the fawn pied hen. took this photo threw the wire. you can barely make her out so i decided to get in with them

pied cock was next to arrive

followed by his son. normal split pied and fawn

couple of light pied hens followed but none of the fawn/pied or fawn pieds showed up again

light pied hen outside her nest -up in 3 days

nest of heavy pied cock

huge entrance to the nest of fawn hen/pied

she flew out while taking photos

unable to go into the next area. too confined and the nests are very close together. it's in this section where the fawn pied hen spends most of her time. hunted her off her eggs last week.....so best nut push my luck
