Back to "active-member" status!

Hey all!
I haven't really been posting much recently, been pretty busy with the homeschoolwork. I thought I'd post some photos of my birds, since the ones I've been posting recently all seem to be someone else's or no one's!
So here's a little update of what's been happening
I've been testing out different fruit-vege mixes. On the day this was taken, there was spinach, banana, strawberry and cherry tomato, I think. The parrot finches were keen! The Saint Helenas and their four young ones are doing well. I stupidly didn't ring the babies. I THINK this is dad, but it might be one of the babies... The Jacarini male has been looking like this for about two months. I think he started moulting, then decided he may as well not bother. It's almost time for him to colour up again
The LBQ male is still looking as scruffy as when he arrived last year. I don't know if he'll ever really look fabulous, but a scruffy male is infinitely better than no male! Now that it's starting to warm up, I'm organising to put in some more ground level cover, that should help them feel more comfortable and hopefully bring them into a breeding mood.
And finally, some more saint helena babies
Hopefully I'll get back to being a properly active member again! I've missed you lot!
