Hello my name is Brayden and I'm from Mudgee NEW SOUTH WALES. I decided to sign up to the forum after contemplating on it for some time, but here i am, i have been breeding and keeping finch species for over 10 years and joined this forum in order to seek and share experiences revolved around finch keeping.
At the moment i would consider myself a small scale breeder, i am looking forward to expanding my collection very soon, me and my brother have recently been making new breeding cabinets to custom dimensions to go into the new bird room we will be constructing very soon.
Currently i keep and breed the following finch species/mutations.
Australian yellowbacked gouldians
Purple breasted SF yellowbacked gouldians
Purple breasted DF yellowbacked gouldians
White breasted normal gouldians
(normal) Painted fire-tails
(yellow) painted fire-tails
Green winged pytillia's (Melbas)
Red winged pytillia's (Aurora's)
Green singer's
Cut throat's
Cuban melodious
Sea green parrot finches
Red faced parrot finches
Pied red faced parrot finches (Med- Heavy)
St Helena wax bills
Blue faced parrot finches
RH star finches
YH star finches
Tri-coloured Munias
And some charcoal zebra finches i am going to sell soon to focus on more sought after finch species.
I am also considering getting an Australian bird keepers permit so i can breed species such as:
Diamond firetails.
Looking very forward to joining the forum community- Brayden
