A nice weekend away birding with my wife yielded some great photos of my target specie the Diamond firetail. We located them on the first day out and spent most of our birding time at the one location.

Could a member please identify the seeding heads in the first, third and fourth pictures, I dont know what the are but my Gouldians love them, this time of the year it is very much their preferred seeding grass and I feed these heads freely, there are plenty full at present.
as Ray Murray used to say, if the wanted, give it to them.
Cheers
Ralph
