If I hadnt seen it with my own eyes - and then my husband also saw it a day later ........... I have a male rose bourke feeding my male ringneck. Originally, the ringneck had a mate in the nestbox, and i had seen the bourke sticking his head and body in from time to time, but unfortunately she died last week for some unknown reason. So I am wondering if he was feeding HER also. Plus, I have two red factors sharing the same nest on eggs. Anyone have this happen before ??

Jewel,
Wait till you get stars sitting and raising gouldians. That is what I call bizzare. Also have had all three species of birds I keep, stars, painteds and goulds feeding begging chicks. I reckon they do it just to get some peace.
