Hi all,

Following on from what Sam Davis said in another thread
SamDavis wrote:This is a forum for ALL members and all members are surely entitled, or more accurately, encouraged, to post in any thread.
I think all members need to remember their manners and keep posts on the forum in a positive tone. Discussions are great but respect others the way you expect to be respected.

Cheers Ian

Thanks Ian and well said. We're all here to help and assist each other - in my view, that's the whole point of this forum.

Everyone I have always believed (like Ian and Sam) is here to help and support each other, like an extended family. So lets not have family spats. Group hug time. :problem: :lolno: :eh:    :D :) ;-)

at last count 1592 of us....thats some hug!
with that sort of cross-section of the community there is bound to be the odd black sheep(maybe bird-brain)....as he takes 2 steps back!
hopefully the characters will continue to greatly outnumber the nutters.....determining which category each of you fit into is another aspect of the forum for me.
many of you have been labelled "loony tunes" without even knowing it! but dont let that stop you!

Well said, we are lucky to be involved in this hobby and the Forum like other avenues makes it easier to enjoy.

Just as family, we will have our disagreements but these need to tempered with the fact that words on a screen can in no way carry the inflection of a voice.

As another point we really need to stick together on the small issues, because if we dont we will be doing exactly what the "Powers that be" want, dividing ourselves as a group and as any General will tell you, "Divide and Conquer" and this division will be the downfall of the home based aviculture movement.
