This a.m. received an email supposedly from a bird acquaintance supposedly held up and robbed in a foreign land . . and asking for a short term loan
Like the ones that many forum members received some little time back, this email is fraudulent and should be consigned to the junk mail bin
You have been warned

Yep! Been a victim of the phantom mugger myself in the past
Pain in the bum to sort every thing out. Some people just have way too much time on their hands!

Never had an email, although have had plenty of fellas ring me up, telling me my computer is causing issues and they work for Microsoft and can fix it for me. I do enjoy leading them on for a while if I have a bit of spare time.

My Mum tells them she doesn't have a computer so their wires must be crossed somewhere!

I say thanks for letting me know. Will get the son to fix it as that's what he does for a living. That catches them on the hop, and I don't even have to tell porkies.
