Thanks.
Other than an aviary with a few budgies i haven't kept birds since I left home(shepparton) 23 odd years ago to come to geelong for uni. Prior to that I sank every cent of my $86 a week I got paid from my part time job into them. At about 16 I bought my first pair of yellow Turks for $1000, but bred nine of them in one season.
We have been renovating/ extending and am looking at building a largeish planted aviary for some mixed finches. Have been retraining on birds and even cracked out the collection of old aus bird keeper magazines. And when I say old, the very first edition onwards.
My dad is starting to get back in as well and is very interested in finches. Currently he is breeding a few gouldiann and emblemas and is looking for a few others.
