I was just checking pics on the flooding in the UK to see how my home town/county was doing and found this bird blog. Got some really good pics.

Also found this youtube clip and it was taken just across the road from where my brother in law lives. That is just your every day rough weather footage. Ive seen it much worse than that as you can see from a series of pics further down the page. This breakwater was originally 400m long but due to constant battering by the North Sea its current length is only 270 and another 20 mtrs of so was blocked off due to it being unsafe when I was back home 7 years ago.

See the pic after the tank pic. My in laws live in one of those houses. The second pier is in the background, some good fishing is done off there!

Yes your home town has really taken a beating with the weather, today in 1hr over 50mm of rain fell here in Geelong and flooded places that haven't seen rain for months and yet the last few weeks hit the mid 40's on some days, same as you guys in Adelaide. The worlds weather is certainly changing. Still 33 at 6.45 PM on a Saturday arvo. And humid as Bali. Sensible finches are hanging out on the ground round the water bowls.
