Just wondering if anyone can give me a common and a scientific name for each of these grasses please ?
I found them in a drainage ditch here in Rockingham WA .
One has an appearance very similar to that of a panic except the seeds are narrow like a rice grain ?
The other one , is it barnyard grass by chance ?
Cheers
Brad

Yes the second one is one of the barnyard/jap/shiroe , the other I'm not sure on the name, but looks similar to one I get over here, my birds don't really eat it, but it is quite strong, & good for nesting grass.
