Beautiful Painted Hen

Took a pic of this beauty at a friends aviaries today. The spots are so bold and so many that it almost looks like a Red Eared Firetail. I was impressed so sharing.....

That's a nice looking hen,i believe it is those type of hens that are used to produce good full fronted red cock birds. Craig

The odd wild hen looks every bit as good as this one.
