DARK FACTOR ???

Hi all,

Question: Could the bird in the top pic be a Single Dark Factor ?
It has much darker colouring all over, much more than the rest of my RH normals,
and any other RH normals I have seen.
It is housed the same as the rest of the birds, in aviaries with open roof sections, with
exactly the same diet.
Opinions ?
Thanks, Joel.

Joel,if you look back in previous posts in gouldian mutations most if not all moult back to normal after 2-3 moults.Melonistic gouldians are virtually impossible to reproduce.Believe me i and others have tried to no avail, but imo they are a nice looking bird and i have seen much darker looking ones with metalic blue chests simmilar to the blue on the neck/head of your bird. As Craig said, wait and see what happens after his next moult. But in the mean time he is a nice bird, breed him.
