Really nice footage Gomer. Thanks for the link.

Interesting to see amongst others the bloods & chestnuts in the second part of the footage.

Agree with Myzo in previous post, very nice footage. What I found interesting was the amount of juveniles,as compared to the adults, looks like they had a good season, but I suppose it will thin out during the moult and natural predation.

Says NT, would be interesting to know where.
Reminded me of the Gouldian count, but I never managed to see those sort of numbers at any waterhole.
In the Kimberley, Long-tails and Mask's were more prevalent but most of the flocks were mixed.

Cheers
Brett

Yes Myzo from memory I havent seen all of those at the same hole at once before either.

I have seen 150 before at one place Brett, but not as pleasant as that water hole also I didnt have a good lens that year either.

Very nice to watch. At the 1:12min mark there was a red bird blurred in the foreground, any idea as to what it was?

Yes, a pair of Crimsons plus a few Yellow-rumps & a nice-looking cock Star. Very good finch spot indeed. Thanks for posting.

Wherever it is, looks like that spot is a safe breeding ground. At least for now.
