I have kept birds for 20 odd years, now specialising in finches after breeding budgies as a teenager and canaries when we purchased our first house.

I have 2 aviary banks, with one divided into nine cages and the other into six. The birds kept include Cordons, Ruddies, Orange Breasts, Cubans, Yellow Siskins, Green Singers, Red Face, Painted, Gouldians, Stars, Diamonds, Crimsons and a few odd birds.

Bird breeding is a challenge and you learn something new every day!

Hi Wagga

Thanks for the welcome!

The autumn weather has been good this year in that there has not even been a frost which is extraordinary considering winter commences tomorrow. The birds are coping well at the moment but that will change when the colder weather hits.
