How old are they? do you have pic of their tails in relaxed mode? :thumbup:

Breeder said they were last season young, didn't say how old exactly, and no pics of tails at the moment, I was lucky to get those two, they never sit still. :lol:

Better to tell in the flesh...but I would go 2 hens...going by their faces....I usually combine face and tails to be sure..

Have to agree vette.

DId the breeder tell you what colour the mother was? - ie if she had a red face then these two have to be hens

No, sadly. He did say they were a pair...I had a slight suspicion that they were both hens though. Would it have any bearing on anything that they've made about 4 nests, but haven't done anything in them yet?

Oh well, i'd rather it be 2 hens than 2 cock birds. Now i have to find 2 cock birds though...Took me ages to find these two :(
