Just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me the sex of these birds, Cheers.

How old are they? do you have pic of their tails in relaxed mode?

Breeder said they were last season young, didn't say how old exactly, and no pics of tails at the moment, I was lucky to get those two, they never sit still.

Better to tell in the flesh...but I would go 2 hens...going by their faces....I usually combine face and tails to be sure..

DId the breeder tell you what colour the mother was? - ie if she had a red face then these two have to be hens

No, sadly. He did say they were a pair...I had a slight suspicion that they were both hens though. Would it have any bearing on anything that they've made about 4 nests, but haven't done anything in them yet?

Oh well, i'd rather it be 2 hens than 2 cock birds. Now i have to find 2 cock birds though...Took me ages to find these two
