Joe swears by the christmas tree.
- Can be hosed clean
- Stays green
- No dust
- Holds shape
- Lasts for years
Plus you can easy add a bit of tinsel and a few decorations early December!

Link to Don Burke's September 2016 presentation has been added to the first post in this thread.
I had a heap of fun right at the end - last 5 minutes or so - swapping microphone with "The Don". :D

Another ripper Sam. Good to see the birding side of Don. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the last five minutes may have got me to laugh

Top marks . .

Technical aspects good; content good

Don's experiences with the "authorities" regarding BF's and REF's are a sad indictment on the way things (hopefully) used to be in NSW . .

BUT still are in many other states

The TV naturalist Harry Butler said that dealing with bureaucracies was not like banging your head against a brick wall; but rather like banging your head against a cottonwool wall . .

And the reason that bureaucracies are so slow to change is that people who strongly disagree with their superiors, rarely get promotions

thanks Sam and others for allowing us "remote" individuals to access these presentations.
Don Burke's night looks like it was a lot of fun and informative too.
a wealth of information that can apply to us all.
would love to see the real "burkes backyard" sounds impressive.
