lump on Tri coloured parrot finch

I found this lump on one of my Tri Coloured Parrot Finches.
wondering what it is and best way to treat it?

Gee,that doesn't look good,it looks like some sort of tumour to me. Can the bird fly/perch,if not you may have to do the deed imo. Craig

it can fly and perch, I have take it out of the aviary and put it in a cabinet for now until i work out what to do
