I'm a newbie and joined the forum a few days ago. I need to have 5 approved posts, so I can see all the forum. Do my replies in other people's posts count as a post, or I need to create new posts on the forum?

Any legitimate posts count, replies, new topics etc, posts for the sake of making a post that have no value such as "nice" , "pretty" or posting smilies will not be approved.
