Description:
Adult – The crown and back Is grey/brown.The wings are dark brown.The face and throat are dark brown.The tail Is grey.The breast Is white with dark brown scalloping.The lower belly to undertail is white.The mandible is grey.The legs and feet are grey.Have brown eyes and eye ring Is grey.Length of 110-115mm and weight of 16 grams.

Juveniles –-Juveniles are brown and show no scalloping and no face mask.Young birds have a shorter tail.The mandible Is black.

Hybrid Risks:
Don’t house with any other Munias/Mannikins as will hybridise.

Health Concerns:
Overgrown Toenails and feather plucking can occur in this species
