Starter softbills

Purely for future reference, What would people say is a good 'starter' softbill? (if there is such a thing :lol: )

Silver eyes,crimson chats, banded chats is what i recommend but silver eyes are the easiest to maintain and breed. Craig

Thanks for that, from what I can gather, I think i'll need a Specialist licence to keep any sort of Chat (unless i'm reading these rules wrong).
Would Silver Eyes co-exist peacefully with other finches?

Perfectly but require fruit to survive and livefood to breed,they also enjoy sprouted seed and soft foods that finches eat. Craig

Superb Blue Wren, very easy to keep & breed, will take larger amounts of soft food compared to other Wrens.
