Finnigan do you have a quality close up picture of the back of the hen?
Also did all offspring have white and yellow nodules and was there only yellow chicks I the nest?
Craig I argee by saying the cock bird is a Aus Yel to look at but to call its genetic back colour I could only make that call confidently from knowing the colours of its offspring that shows normal coloured nodules.

Rich,there is a darker chick in the nest,all be it yellowish.But if that cock bird is both DFEURO and also full AY then the nodule colours will be all new to us, we will have to wait till they properly mature and breed one to your bird to see what happens,it's time consuming to say the least as there wont be any results till the end of next year with their progeny.
