The Finch Society of Australia Inc. November meeting is this Wednesday 12th 7.30pm at the Brenan Park Hall in Bourke St. Smithfield. The meeting features the second presentation in our "History of Finch Aviculture" series. Kevin Devnie will speak on
"Finches Past and Present from a Dealer's perspective". His talk includes the import of native birds from Qld and WA prior to the cessation of trapping and also a run through of many foreign species that he imported into Australia but are no longer present or are now rare.
No doubt many on AFF will recognise Kevin's shop...

Revesby (in Sydney). I know at one time he supplied birds to many (most?) pet shops in Sydney and also many other areas in Australia. No doubt others on AFF will have a clearer memory on the details than I.
