Silly Question, I suppose.

Ok,
Fellow finchers, because of the weather here in Sydney I have not been able to do my lawns. Last mowed them 4 weeks ago but now I am looking at an area of 15mx3m that is completley covered in wintergrass in seed. I take 2 handfulls each morning( 10 seconds) after feeding sprouted seed, fresh dandelion and milk thistle and they love it. It seems such a waste but the mower is coming out tomorrow. The question is this: I can pick it all and would have at least a large shopping bag of the seed head. Can I separate it and freeze in small chinese containers and thaw it out to feed?

Ken.

Best idea is to build an aviary over it and never mow again :D Yes you can freeze it but in freezer bags would be better Craig
