Hi Guys
Haven`t bred too many gouldians this year, but I`m happy with the quality of the young that i have bred, Have 4, that have completed their moult, and 3 that are about 95% moulted, For the first time I have succeeded in having some of my blue young go through the moult, have 7 blue and silver on the perch with 3 almost finished their moult and looking good, Last year bred 6 blue young and lost all of them early in the moult, so overall I`m pleased with my results.

Mate I would be pleased with lower numbers and high quality any day.

Good job on the blues and silvers.

Yes your birds are a long way ahead of mine. Only have one bird so far showing any colour.

Thanks guys, I have party lights that I use throughout the winter and the birds get the morning sun, I also try and focus on Gouldian's with good form, cocks with good parenting skills and young that moult quickly, extra amino acids and vitamin supplements, educational breeding tips from the forum, so I think all this contributes to my birds moulting quickly.
