I found this product while browsing at the pet store today. It's supposed to prevent disease from spreading via the water supply. Does anyone know if it works and is useful?

I have never heard of it to be honest. I use Multi-Clens water disinfectant for both drinking water and sprouted seed.

I have used Water Guard in the past for sprouting seed. I never had any problems with it but I have since moved to using 'Vetafarm Avi-Clens' because it is easier for me to get.

Chlorhexidine is a disinfectant, widely used to disinfect surfaces and equipment.
I have no experience with this product. I would check its safety data for chronic ingestion before using it as a permanent additive to your birds drinking water.

Cheers
