Any bird shops left in Syd, North of bridge & East of Ryde?!

Calling all finch folk who live in the Northern reaches of Sydney...
What do you do with your excess birds, especially the common ones such as Zebras? I used to hand them over to any one of the five bird-trading pet stores that used to be within a reasonable drive of home. These five gradually dwindled to just one - the FlowerPower pet store in Warriewood. I found out today that that has also closed that side of the business

. So, as far as I know, that means there are now ZERO bird-traders in the entire North and North-eastern areas of Sydney.
Or, does anyone know of any bird stores North of Sydney Harbour Bridge and East of about Ryde, that are still operating or newly opened?! Please do tell!
Thanks

I can't think of any North of the bridge or east of Parramatta. I have a friend who runs an aquarium at Killarney Heights - I should convince him to start selling birds. Down my way there are quite a few shops selling birds - a new one opened just recently at Smeaton Grange.

So not fair. Grump
My local pet store run by a little old lady used to have birds. Then there was the fabulous Real Macaw, and the FlowerPower pet store, plus a great pet store at Warringah Mall, and one other that escapes me.
All disappeared over the last 5 years.
Smeaton Grange? I haven't heard of that. It sounds like the name of a school for well-to-do Hobbits who speak with English accents.
Sam yes, have a word with your friend! He will seriously corner the entire market. Lots of good bird breeders up here to supply him, and you as his consultant...

There is alot going on behind the selling of birds in pet shops where they are required to take the name, address and phone number of buyers of birds from there premises, even if the buyer just buys one zebra finch in NSW.
All these personal details are to be recorded and kept for the powers to be for possible inspection at the buyers residence in regards of housing, feeding etc.
Gone are the days that you can turn up at a pet shop and dump your zebs there for $1 or less a bird and most bird dealers are buying there birds at whole sale prices from other dealers to get the particular birds that they can sell. Craig

Yes, admin is always an obstacle.
My local stores used to be very easy-going though. Yes, they jotted down name/address in their book, but were happy to take local birds from their own customers. It's a nice way for small outlets to trade, and all worked rather well because I usually spent most of what they gave me for the birds before I left the store!

Oh Dear I was assuming that all the "best" legislators had moved to Qld - not it seems, they are breeding in plague proportions, eroding rites and and saving Australia from all the first world problems they create!

I am also on the Northside, Belrose.
Last few times I have had to go to Birdsville or out to Rooty Hill,
