Hi Team,
This year at Singleton I'm hoping to pick up my first pair of Aurora finches. I've been looking around on the internet about information on them and none of it is overly descriptive so I was hoping some of you guys that have bred them would have some goon info. They will be put in an aviary 3m long by 1m wide and 1.8m high with saints and strawbs. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
+ how much to they go for a pair atm? I havnt seen any on sale for some time and last time I did they where $90 which is reasonable.

Hi Lachlan I have been hanging on to an old magazine with a feature story with Auroras. It's a great article. I don't want the magazine any more but can't find it in me to throw it out. Let me know if you'd like it.

Hi Lachlan,
If you have white ants, they are quite easy (or perhaps I was lucky).
Mine preferred boxes for nesting and were given ample green pick and white ants.
If you don't have access to white ants, they can be quite a challenge to breed.
Good luck,
Matt.

Hmmm I only feed maggots and mealworms. Maybe the backup plan of pied RCCB is the way to go. I have access to white ants but really dont have the time to source them consistently. Thanks for the info mate!
