Don't know all the changes that have taken place, but I like the poster info on the right.
Seems to make posts easier to read.
The PM feature is the 'shiz' to. Makes contact with other members much easier.

Why would they change something like that, every forum I am a member of has it with the User info on the left. I guess we'll get used to it, just looks funny now

I was thinking, if it were to happen again, the changes and whatnot....would it be a decent idea to ask the members of the forum for opinions on what should be changed/should not be? Or has this been done before and not worked?
I have no problem with the current changes or anything like that, I was just wondering if that might be a way to make the forum better for its users.

Mick could tell you more about the changes.Most of them come with the latest version of what runs this forum. Alot of other changes you will not even notice.So as far as i know the part of what your talking about is part and parcel of having the latest version of phpb.

It's nice on the right. Can read posts straight away - don't have to scroll left to right to read. Stu, is the bird in your avitar yours? I like the Orange faced white breast Gouldians. I have some Aussie yellow splits and the White bib makes them especially cute. ;)

What changes are we talking about? As far as I can see there is only a big red disclaimer that has change and nothing else.

Changes I have noticed = 1 very small advertisement line at the top under the forum banner. 2 avatar on opposite side (bit disconcerting, but will adjust like everyone else) 3 disclaimer at the bottom. 4 explaination about "probation" when you sign in
Not a lot really, and if it makes things better for the owners then well and good. This is still the best forum in the world.

My eyes have double=crossed back! I swear the avatars went back to the left for a brief amount of time. Maybe I was looking at the screen upside down or maybe in the mirror or ... just nutty, I suppose
