I never look in waxbill nests because I expect them to abandon ship. Did anything come of the orange egg?

Hi Greg
Thanks for the reply .
I only found the egg today , I'm a electrican & I have a flexible arm camera to look in walls so I used that, which put me about 1m away from the nest . aldi sell them every 6 months or so for about $70 , so hopefully they won't think I have desturb them
