Hi Team,

I've noticed one of my Fawn cockbirds and normal hens have recently paired up and are starting the breeding process. Just out of curiosity what would I be expecting in regards to young if they were successful. Thanks in advance

Hi Lachlan,All young saints will be split for fawm if one of the parents are fawn to a normal,it's autosomal recessive. Craig

Unless the "normal" hen is a split fawn, in which case the young would be fawns and split fawns - roughly 50:50
