Iaos, I'm not certain of the place my partner gets it for me. Though I should have said Seed and Feed.
Sunflower.......39.45
Wheat...........22.50
Oats.............22.50
Peachface......34.95
Mealworms.....12.95
Fruit/nuts......10.00 (kilo)
Total............142.35

We get Avigrain blue 34.00 20 kilos, don't recall prices on Canary or grains and greens. Or Niger, tho it's way out there.

I find the produce store at store at Raymond Terrace pretty reasonable. Last time I was there I paid $33 for a 25kg bag of Quirindi Budgie (it's the same as a finch mix). They also sell avigrain there, it's worth a look.

Cheers Ian

Thanks Iaos. Do you know if they carry Paswells dry mix? I'm paying 150.00 for 20 kilo bag. Also, I would like to know more about the budgie mix you talk about. Regards

Not sure if they carry bulk lori mix.

Not sure the exact mix and portions of the budgie mix. It looks like a fairly typical mix, red pannicum, French white millet plus others, plenty of canary seed in it, but no oil seeds like Niger linseed or poppy.

Cheers Ian

Wow, Westie, that is spendy. What kind of finch mix is it? If it's good quaility, it may be well worth it. I like a good barn yard mix from time to time.

Yeah your seed sounds cheap to me. I got a 25kg bag for $62 the other week but I didn't care as they mixed the various seeds I wanted.

What types of seeds do you have mixed together? And where do you have them mixed, Pictorellea? Would like to try your recipe. Regards.
