Getting to watch my pair of red factors hatching. It was extremely hot, so I frequented the birds.



They are a young pair of birds. So far they are tentative to the babies.

Congratulations.

It is the best time of the year and I still get a buzz out of seeing eggs hatch.

I hope the parents do a good job raising them.

And the babies fledged during move from barn to house during heatwave yesterday. Parents are still feeding them. Isn't life grand. Regards

This hot weather does bring young canaries out of the nest earlier than usual. My Daughter's Glosters have fledged a few early jumpers in the hot weather lately.

This little variegated hen is on eggs. I think she's pretty. The cock is an unusual colour also. Will try to get pic of him. Hopefully the clutch will be viable.



This little hen is a sweetie, she has two chicks.
