Blackhead in Game Birds

I made mention of the disease called blackhead in a recent post about chooks. My knowledge is very limited:
- protozoan disease,
- has a nematode as an intermediate host,
- is particularly likely where conditions are damp (similar to Coccidia),
- according to some poultry forums, worming helps,
-turkeys seem particularly prone to it.
My questionis: Is it a viable risk to have chickens near our quail, partridge and pheasants (including peafowl)?
Cheers
