Hi everyone
I have a pair of diamonds. They have set up a nest in a box I previously used with my blue faced parrot finches.
They are now building a second nest in some brush. Is this usual

Hi Darren,they were probably using the nest box as a roosting nest which diamonds do.If they are building a nest in the brush it will most likely be a breeding nest,after they have raised young in that they usually leave that nest as a roosting nest and build another breeding nest.Good luck. Craig
