Identification

Took these at a mates place today,does anyone want to guess what it is.His wife is looking after his birds while he is working away so she doesn't know what birds are feeding it.In the aviary there are,Gouldians,Longtails,Stars,Chestnuts,Spicefinches,and Sea Green Parrot Finches,the smaller birds I haven't mentioned.

G'day Jack,to me it looks like an albino long tail,it is showing a very light coloured bib. Nice Hecks too. Craig

Yes I concur Craig...but I personally wouldn't keep Hecks in with Yellow Billed Longtails...

I wasn't going to say anything as that was the first thing i thought but it must be a true longtail albino because the ones around now came from hecks and retain the red bill. Craig

Given that those two are hanging around it, they may be the parents as it's bill is not red or yellow..

Jack, is that the same aviary that had the hybrid in it?
If so, I saw a Hecks/blackheart pair preening as was the hybrid to a blackheart.
That worries me. Some people don't think to rmove odd birds, especially hybrids from large breeding aviaries. It's a bit difficult to trap them.

Yes Tom,it's the same aviary but as I told you when you were there the bird was not bred in that Aviary.

Jack I need to ask, Is the bird White or Yellow, Or is it a camera trick. Albino because of the Red eye, maybe its a hybrid. Weve been reading a lot about those lately.
