Found this little guy on the floor. I
put him back in the nest three times but keeps jumping out. Should i persist or let him do what he wants.

Hi Nova, most young painteds usually stay on the floor for a few days when they fledge, they bunch together when there are a few but with only one,the adults will sit with it on the floor over night. Craig

I had a couple jump out 2 weeks ago, they stayed on the floor for a while. One night while checking on things I found them snuggled up to a pair of king quail which shared the aviary with them. The Quail always roost in the corner on the floor bum to bum so to speak, looked quite funny seeing 4 young painteds snuggled right beside them.
