Congratulations Surfartist.

How long have you been living in Victoria for? From what I have read on the forum, it isn't possible to breed blues or Australian blues anywhere but Victoria... ;-) haha.

Cheers Ian

(all in good fun and jest my Victorian friends)

Thanks for the comments. She is a lovely bird! Yes Iaos :) I did end up with several nice blues this year and all from NSW birds but...... we know they do have nice blues down there and she has a beautiful double split cock from Victoria (thanks Paul) to breed with this year.

Craig,
I have been breeding birds for a long time. I have watched this bird daily from one day old and its a hen.

Can't wait to see the offspring out come ratio AY Blues v's Blues v's AY's v's Splits.

This should give us a real good indication to how dominate the AY gene really is, if at all.
Good luck mate.
