He did write an article about them on his website. Someone in the QFS finch news has Green Singers for sale though.

They only reason unfortunately that they have dies out is because of the "Brown Bird sydrome' , people think there is nothing special about them because they are grey, but as I have heard, they make some of the most intricate sounds people have ever heard

'Price' and 'value' are often poles apart
Some years ago, when Dybowskis (your avatar) were still about, in very limited numbers; they were relatively cheap
They were cheap because there was very little likelihood of their reproducing young . . you would be buying a museum piece with a finite lifespan
So while they were 'cheap'(?) . . They were certainly not 'value'

Sometimes the price going down will tempt some to try but. Wish it happened with all the "boring brown/grey" birds. The interest picking up when the price goes down I mean.

Are there any numbers of Dybowskis Twinspots in Australia still are all of them gone

The real world experience is the opposite. "Brown bird" breeder interest peaks when prices are high and rising eg. Yellowrumps, silverbills and breeders ditch them en mass when prices fall.
