Not much difference between the young in my eyes. Maybe a little lighter.

I like the look of the adult birds. Thanks for sharing. Dilutes are something I would like to play with one day.

What would a sf euro yellow with diute look like if such combo is possible I wonder?

I'm guessing that a SF euro YB & Aust dilute in the same bird would look indistinguishable from a DF euro YB.

Progress with the visual differences being a lot clearer now.

When i was breeding AD's years ago, the AD young would leave the nest a dirty fawn /cream colour. Craig

G'day Craig,
I too was expecting a more of a cream looking bird and now that it's not I'm really hoping for this lighter chick to be a hen.
The fathering bird (RHPB AD) to this offspring does resemble a SF cock in the back but the black on the bib is a lot lighter compared to any other SF I have ever seen.

Will have to wait and see what becomes.
Rich.

I'm unsure about the colour of the eyes but will check when I return home next week.
Are all AD's eyes plum?

Hi Rich, the plum coloured eyes usually darken before they leave the nest so you may not be able to tell by the time you get home. Cheers Craig
