Well after almost 12months of trying have finally got a couple of Pied orange Breast fledge today. Parents have Pied markings so will be interesting how much the young will have if any at all. 2 other pairs have young also. I put this down to feeding maggots which I only started over Christmas. Previously did not feed and lost every young last year. Happy as I have tried other finches with no success other than Gouldians and Zebras.

Orange breasted pie? (spelling of title) Sounds a bit crunchy to me. Good luck with them.
