Just watched something interesting this afternoon, probably happens all the time but I have never seen it before. I had a clutch of gouldians fledge over 3 days by the time the last bird fledged the first fledgling was very strong and considerably larger. The first fledgling was helping feed the smaller. I tryed to get a video but twas to slow.

Not that uncommon. Many birds will do this, but a bit more often when a couple of batches have been hatched and the 1st hatching feeds the 2nd hatching.
